EN 13183-1 — Moisture content by the oven-dry method
Clause 4–6. Defines the reference procedure for determining moisture content: drying a specimen at 103 ± 2 °C to constant mass and expressing water mass as a percentage of oven-dry mass. Parts 2 and 3 cover electrical resistance and capacitance meters, which must be species- and temperature-corrected. Any moisture figure quoted without stating the method is not comparable.
