EN 1990 (Eurocode 0) — Design working life and reliability basis
Clause 2.3 / Annex A1. Sets indicative design working lives: 10 years temporary, 10–25 years replaceable components, 15–30 years agricultural, 50 years buildings and other common structures, 100 years monumental and bridges. Cladding and other replaceable elements are explicitly not required to match the 50-year structural life, which is the correct frame for maintenance-cycle arguments.
