EN ISO 15927-3 — Driving-rain index from climate data
Clause 4. Derives the wall-driving-rain index from hourly wind speed, direction and rainfall. Airfield index (litres/m² per year) above 500 indicates severe exposure requiring a drained and ventilated cavity; below 200 is sheltered. This is the correct basis for grading façade moisture load — not annual rainfall alone.
