EN 84 — Accelerated ageing by water leaching before biological testing
Clause 5–7. Specimens are vacuum-impregnated with water and then held through nine water changes over 14 days before decay testing. It is the mandatory pre-conditioning when a treatment's performance is claimed for use classes exposed to wetting, because it removes readily leachable active substances.
